The statistics were harsh, to say the least. My cancer diagnosis came with a chilling 5 percent survival rate for two years. In the two years since that fateful day, I have undergone 5 surgeries, 48 cycles of chemotherapy, 34 cycles of immunotherapy, and countless emergency department visits. The road has been long and incredibly challenging, but through it all, I have maintained a positive outlook, never letting the weight of my circumstances define me.<\/p>\n

Of course, my life has not been easy. There have been days of extreme exhaustion, pain, and frustration. There have been moments when I questioned my own strength, wondering how much more I could endure. But through it all, I\u2019ve held on to one thing: my faith in myself, my doctors, and my incredible support system. I refuse to give up, and I refuse to let cancer take away my joy for living.<\/p>\n

Today, as I reflect on how far I\u2019ve come, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of gratitude and happiness. Today is not just another day of survival. Today, I get to marry my best friend, my one true love\u2014the man who has stood by me every step of the way, through the good days and the darkest ones. The man who, when most would have run for the hills, chose to stay, to love, and to fight alongside me.<\/p>\n

As we stand together today, I am in awe of how far we have come, both individually and as a couple. I never imagined that after everything I\u2019ve been through, I would be standing here today, on the verge of marrying the love of my life.
