Savannah Guthrie<\/span>\u2018s veteran brother has flown to Arizona from his home in\u00a0<\/span>Vermont<\/span>, as the manhunt for their mother stretches into its fourth day.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/header>\n

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at 9.30pm on Saturday night when she was\u00a0dropped off at her<\/span>\u00a0Tucson home by her Italian son-in-law Tommaso Cioni, 50, after an evening of playing mahjong with daughter Annie, 56.<\/p>\n

Her son Camron Guthrie, 61, has now joined the rest of the family at his poet sister\u2019s $650,000 ranch-style home and was seen looking grim-faced as he drove Annie away from the residence on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

Camron \u2013 who is named for his father who died aged 49 in 1988 \u2013 is a decorated military veteran who spent 16 years flying F-16 fighter jets in the Air National Guard.<\/p>\n

After hanging up his spurs in 2018, the 61-year-old now flies for the Vermont Air National Guard \u2013 a move praised by sister Savannah in a public\u00a0Instagram<\/span>\u00a0post following his retirement.<\/p>\n

She wrote: \u2018I have never been more proud of my big brother. He has flown for our country for 26 years and continues to serve proudly in the \u2018Green Mountain Boys\u2019 \u2014 the Vermont Air National Guard.<\/p>\n

\u2018He is the pride of our family and one of this country\u2019s finest.\u2019<\/p>\n

Nancy was reported missing by daughter Annie on Sunday after being alerted to her mom\u2019s absence from church by a fellow parishioner.<\/p>\n

When she arrived at Nancy\u2019s sprawling home, it was to find her mother gone \u2013 her medication and cellphone left behind and drops of blood splattered on her doorstep.<\/p>\n

Police on Wednesday said they believe Nancy is still alive but in great danger following what they described as an abduction.<\/p>\n

The investigation, which includes the FBI as well as the Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Department, is also looking at the possibility that Nancy has been kidnapped for ransom after demand letters were\u00a0delivered to TMZ<\/span>\u00a0and an Arizona based NBC affiliate.<\/p>\n

Annie and her husband Tommaso looked tense as they were seen for the first time since the\u00a0abduction of 84-year-old<\/span>\u00a0Nancy Guthrie.<\/p>\n

They covered their faces as they left their home in Tucson,\u00a0Arizona<\/span>, in a dark-colored Honda SUV at 5pm MT Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Annie held a coral-colored hoodie over the top of her scalp to try and hide her face from photographers.<\/p>\n

Cioni pulled his t-shirt up over his mouth and nose while wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses in a bid to avoid being photographed.<\/p>\n

The couple, who married in 2006 and have one child together,\u00a0returned to their $650,000 Tucson home<\/span>\u00a0shortly afterwards.<\/p>\n

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said\u00a0they were the last people<\/span>\u00a0to see Nancy alive before she vanished.<\/p>\n

Savannah is believed to be staying with them at her home.<\/p>\n

FBI<\/span>\u00a0agents visited the property around 2:30pm MT on Tuesday as they continue to investigate the kidnapping of\u00a0Savannah and Annie\u2019s mother Nancy<\/span>. They left after two hours.<\/p>\n

Nancy was taken from her $1 million Tucson home sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, with investigators saying her kidnapper had forced entry.<\/p>\n

Ransom notes were delivered to TMZ and local news outlet KOLD on Tuesday afternoon demanding an undisclosed sum of Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

The notes are said to have shared details about damage to Nancy\u2019s home and what she was wearing that have not been released to the public.<\/p>\n

Pima County Sheriff\u2019s Office have acknowledged them but have refused to verify their contents, or confirm whether their deputies have received any ransom demands for Nancy.<\/p>\n
