\nThat\u2019s where Miller\u2019s family is tonight in Texas.
\nThey\u2019re in Houston after getting the call that could change everything.
\nA call that brings the possibility of new lungs\u2026 and the quiet, sacred weight of knowing another family may soon be saying goodbye so Miller can have a chance to live.
\nThey\u2019re asking for prayers \u2014 for peace in impossible decisions, and for comfort for the family whose loss could become Miller\u2019s second chance. There is joy wrapped in sorrow here, and love woven through grief.
\nMiller is a two-time AML leukemia survivor, a two-time bone marrow transplant warrior, and now he\u2019s fighting a rare lung disease that has slowly taken his breath away.
\nDoctors at Texas Children\u2019s Hospital \u2014 home to the nation\u2019s top lung transplant program \u2014 are evaluating whether he can be listed for a transplant that could give him his life back.
\nThe process is heavy. The numbers are small. The stakes couldn\u2019t be higher.
\nHe tells his doctors he leans on the prayers and messages from people he\u2019s never met. He says he believes God still has a plan for his life.
